The Zoo Trip

The all American Bald Eagle. Sorry about the fence, but I feel the apology goes to the Eagle it's self. I'll continue to tell myself that he's safer in this cage then he would be in the wild.
Penguins
We located the Penguins toward the end of our trip. They were a lot of fun to watch.
Polar Bears my favorite!!
I could watch these bears all day. I'm not sure if it's their size or the fact that they're so loyal and protective to their young, but I just love the Polar Bear.
I want one!
Of all the animals at the zoo these Bob Cats seemed more at home than anything else. (Tied with the beavers and of coarse the DUCKS). Maybe because the zoo is pretty much in their back yard.
The Beaver
These lazy critters were just cute but not so much 'fun' to watch. After all they were sleeping. I'm sure a non rainy spring day would have made for a better trip. But we had a blast!
Mountain Lions
While these cats don't look so Bad Ass in the picture I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of this fence!
